Trees, meet Forest

There are big storms brewing today.  On the way home from school as Noah, Anna, and I talked about rain, thunder, weather and who makes these things, Noah suggested that God only sends little rains.  I said sometimes he does send big rains and that today might be like that.  Then I reminded him about how God flooded the earth with a bunch of big rains in the story of Noah's ark.  That's when Noah had a "hold it!" moment.

Noah: "'Wait!  How did God get in Noah's movie?  I not member dat!"

Clearly, it's possible to miss the forest for the trees when telling children Old Testament bible stories.  Memo to me, don't do that.
