August and its Things

August held a bunch, just as July did.  It's possible anything at all feels like a bunch for me right now.  I am surviving a day at a time ... keeping moving forward for myself and the kids and navigating the nightmare of divorce and having to live in the house with the stranger who was my husband and all the emotional upset that brings.  Add to that, I started working this month too.  It's all just a lot.  I am giving myself grace when it comes to needing to retreat and stare, or retreat and cry, sometimes cuss, sometimes lift my head and feel such confidence in what the Lord is doing for me, other days weeping before the Lord in anxiety.  Pray for me, y'all.  Pray for my kids.

This month's sadly sloppy picture drop again.  It's all I have the energy for after the living of it.  Highlights include back to school for all three kids, my going back to school as a Reading Interventionist, Noah starting a new job at Discount Tire, the TN State Fair, Anna pouring herself into a lot of artwork to survive the days, doing a BUNCH of puzzles again, Lasa losing another tooth, and two out of three kids getting Covid.
