February's Festivities

Bowling with friends on a snow day...

Snow Dodge with the youth group at FBC Gallatin.  Noah and Anna are in there if you wanna Where's Waldo them.

Anna also attended a Winter Jam concert with this group one Friday night.  She had a blast at this, her first ever concert, which was such a relief.  I was worried it would be too much for her.  Noah would have gone as well had he not just gotten grounded AGAIN.  Send help.

D-Now Weekend with our own youth group ... they went along with several other area churches and met up at Grace Community Church in Brentwood.

Anna's friend Lacey spent the night between the Friday and Saturday events, so that was another fun highlight to the weekend.

A youth group girls only event at Cheryl's one Friday night...

Daddy Daughter Dance a la Lasa...

Daddy Daughter Dance a la Anna (their 10th time going!) ...

At Chef's Market where we all met for dinner while Josh gave me back Lasa from her dance shift and took Anna back with him for her dance.

One-on-one time when me and the missy were home alone again one night this month.  It's been a bussssssssy month for Josh - meetings and donating plasma and more meetings after work.  And the big kids stay busy too - social lives and work and babysitting and church stuff and all.

Lasa's recent cataloguing of her family woes...

February Bunco, where my losing streak continues.  Ha!

Homeschool snapshots...

When you make a Noah run errands with you ... this day we were prom shoe shopping for Anna.Noah found some winners!

Anna did find some winners of her own. Adorable!

Milestone alert!  Noah filed his first ever income tax return.  He gets a whopping $76 back.  He's already spent it in his head ... apparently on a Nashville Shores season pass. ;)

Kitty love continues.  I crocheted them that blanket they are laying on.  They love it.

Bane continues to be an excellent mouse catcher.  He wins my heart for this.  Then he toys with his prey and messes with it until he finally eats them whole.  It's totally gag-worthy. And hysterical.

The chickens are picking up the pace laying more eggs again now that we are flirting with warmer temps.  My faves are always the speckled eggs.  We are up to selling three dozen a week beyond the ones we use at home.

Good book I read this month.

Daffodils all over again ... spring's announcing she's almost heeeeeeeeere ...

Josh went camping at Cedars of Lebanon State Park over the three day weekend to test out our new tent.  Lasa joined him one night, too.  It was cold again, but his space heater did the trick.

"Stew" Lasa made.

CFA on the way home, of course.

And finally - Valentines Day box for Lasa for school.  Anna made it for her and it's awesome.  We all exchanged sweet treats and gifts at home too and I took not one pic this year.  Oh well!  Happy Valentines Day anyway! ;)  Oh yeah!  This was Noah's first year giving a girl a special Valentine.  Adorbs.
