June also brought us the welcome escape and retreat to our annual Smith Lake trip with my family. Obviously, Josh did not come. Sadly, Noah opted to stay home to make up for having to miss two other weeks of work in the summer. So it was just Anna, Lasa, and me heading south with Anna's kayak atop the car. Girls trip ended up being sweet and we have no complaints. My family took great care of us and our sore hearts in this sad season we are in. Thank you, Lord.
