Preach!

Fully February

F is for February and F is for Frozen and Frigid and Fun.  F is also for Finally ... as in finally sold our Gallatin house but that already got a post of its own.  HA!  Photos of our Full February that included the coolest hours and hours of sleet and freezing rain ... followed by the prettiest snows ... being snowed in for 9 days .... and so much sledding and family time as a result.  February ended with the wildest Flooding, too, but alas we didn't take pics and the worst of it happened at night ... only stranding us once.  Pics wouldn't have done it justice anyway.  Suffice to say, my eyes are now open to the seriousness and danger of flash flooding and the reality of it out here among so many creeks.  Wow is an understatement!!

February also brought a fun new chapter start - Noah's joining up with an inline skating hockey league.  So far, only evaluations have taken place.  Noah has a LOT to learn and he is so ready to do it.  We went broke buying equipment.  He better love it.  And do it more than one season!  Also, beautiful skies from our front steps.  Good eats.  And other random pics.

When a "fire fairy" takes an afternoon nap with you.

Anna is into all manner of fort and campsite building.  And therefore, knots.  I came upon her "notes" recently.  Josh has gifted her a handsaw for all her endeavors and I just know she is gonna lose a digit at some point using that bad boy. Lord, protect my girl.

And now March is upon us and I can't even believe it.  Excited for spring and new starts and seeing what all this property of ours does in a new season.  Lots of discovery to come.  As well, we are headed to the beach and to Legoland for Spring Break along with a certain FL cousin's wedding.  Wish us luck in all those travels!  Josh has the second of two covid shots to get also.  Eeek!  And hockey!  Hockey practices coming right up. There isn't much time for Josh to build a chicken barn just yet, so those dreams are staring down a more Fall-ish reality.  Which is ok!  Rolling with the punches and still just sitting in gratitude.
