April's Arrivals

April brought no judge's ruling yet, so that's been a hard wait that won't die.  But April did host the arrival of other good things.  The Bethpage house went on the market and under contract before three days had passed.  Between three over asking offers, we have one contract and one back up contract signed.  Thankful!  So thankful.  Anna and Noah attended their second prom at Gaylord Opryland with friends and the evening was everything they hoped for.  Anna got her ACT scores back and they are excellent for her first real effort.  We took in the solar eclipse.  We enjoyed more kitty love.  We hit up the park several times as spring rolled in. We planted flowers and plants and mowed and trimmed. I bought my first ever weed eater!  We patronized the season's first ice cream truck.  Lasa completed the high stakes testing at school for two weeks that will determine if she promotes to 4th grade or not.  She enjoyed the experience overall so that's hopeful to me!  Anna took a little dog walking job that has translated into future dog sitting opportunities.  And Bane brought a bird into the house that caused some hullabaloo for Anna early one morning after I left for work.  I won nothing at Bunco again.  Ha!  We have thoroughly enjoying watching the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and seeing our brackets do so well!  And the Lord did his really neat thing by providing for us in ways I hadn't told anyone we needed, but we did.  It's not the great big provision I keep asking the Lord for yet, but it's daily manna and it feeds our faith and meets the immediate needs I am staring down.  Thank you, Lord.
