First Day at MDO

Just when I started feeling guilty about the fact that it did not even occur to me to take pictures of Anna with her new teacher (also named Annah) at MDO this morning, I remembered that it didn't even occur to her to look back or say bye when I dropped her off. So I guess that makes us even. She walked to the door without me and then stood there in true Anna fashion - head down, eyes to the ground. I said, "Baby, you can go play." And she did. Didn't look back (I know this because I did, I peeked). I wonder if she even knows I'm gone yet, almost 2 hours into her class.

Too funny! This is the first day of school that I haven't taken any pictures....I think it's because they have ribbed me all summer about what a dork I am about their pictures. They didn't look back either - jumped on the bus like they were glad to get away from me. Sad face.

awwwe!!! I can just picture her...shoulders drooped, head down, no expression, cute little person..."whatever mom, not even gonna say bye"

LOL!

Amy - I like to think the not-looking-back is indicative of how well adjusted and independent she is ... you know, a true testament to my superior parenting thus far. ;) Ha!

Of course the flip side to that coin looks more like this - snooty and unfeeling. Girls.

Emily - Yeah - she's totally the "whatever, mom" type.
