The rain FINALLY let up and allowed our favorite strawberry patch to open for business on Monday, so we were there with bells on Tuesday after picking up Noah from school.
It was a perfectly sweet first trip out. I say first trip because we will have to go back ASAP. Noah hoovered all but about six of the berries we came home with. I can't blame the kid. They literally melted in your mouth with how warm, juicy, and sweet they were!
No matter! The patch is close to home and entirely adorable and right next door to some friends of ours, so there is plenty of draw and convenience to get us back over there. This week probably!

The little box of strawberries is all you got? NO wonder you have to go back already!
I know! I only let them pick half a bucket because we have gotten so many in the past that they go bad before we can eat them. :} Not this time!
Besides, did you see how GIANT they were? The one in her hand fills it up entirely. Whoa!
