Celebrating Baby Girl

We marked Anna's 3rd birthday tomorrow by celebrating it today on a Saturday instead.  The highlights of the birthday girl's day were...
going to check out Monkey's Treehouse,

the cake Mrs. Becky made special for Anna with "springy butterfwies and polka dots" thankyouverymuch,

and birthday presents aplenty,

with her clear faves being the dollhouse, camera, and make-up.

Her other birthday honorable mentions were waking up to find pink balloons all over the floor in her room,  getting to help me decorate with those balloons, and getting to enjoy all of her birthday festivities with Mimmie and Papa, who came for an overnight visit.

It was an easy-going, fun-filled day to celebrate Anna turning three tomorrow.  Happy Birthday, Baby Girl!

Loved the cake. Loved the look of those long legs on this rapidly growing girl. Loved that your parents are there to help celebrate. Loved that this girl's poppy is a good sport and allows her to put make-up on him. Loved the look on her adoring brother's face. Love, love, love the birthday girl! Happy Birthday, Anna!

Oh my so many comments to make...

Loved the pic of her drinking juice with her legs crossed like a real grown up prissy lady :)

My .... how she has got some LONG legs on that little body....is she close to towering over Noah yet?

Last picture soooo funny, her expression is like " sit down or ELSE....b/c i WILL put make on you Papa!"

That doll house is HUGE! I didn't realize it was going to be THAT big...I'm just gonna throw this out there....uhm.....spoiled!! :) But I mean hey, if you've got it to give, I totally would do it too! What a killer 3rd birthday that girl had!

Spoiled?! No way - take that back! We actually got that stuff on amazing discounts MONTHS ago at Essex. We spent about $75 total on her gifts this year - so there! We got that amazing dollhouse for only $25! And that included all the furniture to go with! I do so ♥ Essex.

As for the legs, she's not towering over Noah yet, but I bet she catches him by next summer.

Cute cake! Love the baloon idea. AND that dollhouse! Can I come play with that? A girls dream! Where did you find that?

I have agree with Emily about her long legs!

I clearly need to stop and read your comments before flooding your blog with a million questions. What is this Essex you speak of? $25 is a steal!

Can I just like and agree with everyone else's comments, because mine would be the same. ;) Though I must add that is one seriously tall doll house! So fun. My doll house that I received for my 5th birthday was my all-time favorite toy.

Kimberly, I loved making your sweet girls birthday cake... I do wish you had a photo of her sweet face when she actually saw her cake for the very first time! It was truly priceless! I also loved that she ate the icing and not the cake! Next year we can just give her a big scoop of icing :)

Shannon - Essex, I think, is only a local chain of retail outlets. Like in North Alabama and TN...for now. They sell stuff that has been previously opened or returned or is overstock or has damaged packaging or is missing parts or any thing like that. So the discounts are awesome.

Strangely, Elizabeth, Noah is more interested in that dollhouse than Anna so far. So funny.

Becky - You know it! Hand the girl a baggie of Becky icing and let 'er rip! :D
