My First Piggie Tails

Look what we did!

I know, I know. It didn't take me long after my Anna post earlier today to go ahead and give the piggie tails a try. And now that I have seen those cutie pie tails on her cutie pie head, I don't know who's hitting the milestone bigger ... me or her! No wait - clearly, it's me. I am so proud of getting them in her hair!

Please excuse the back teeth teething pacifier. She is in a lot of pain. And her shirt is soaked with the drooling proof.

Three guesses how long she left the pig tails in: A little while, a long while, or not even long enough for me to finish posting about it. :)

While I think pig tails and pony tails are the cutest thing ever, I have no patience in wrestling Kara to get them in!

I hope Anna was cooperative. I'll guess that she left them in a long time. Once I get them in Kara's hair, she loves them!

Oh so cute! I can't wait to do pigtails on Ava.

So cute. I still love to put piggy tails in Leah's hair occasionally. I have never heard of a back teeth teething pacifier, or a teething pacifier at all for that matter. Samuel is teething like crazy too. He has had 3 teeth poke through in the 3 weeks he's been home and another one is about to come through. Poor thing is in pain and drooling like crazy too.

Oh - you know she pulled those piggie tail holders out of her hair before I could even upload the pics...which I did RIGHT after I took them. :)

Alison - She didn't get squirrely with me, but I was so afraid I was going to hurt her head or pull too tightly on any strand of hair. It odd doing hair in front of you instead of your own hair with your hands up and behind you. I am sure I had an odd, goofy, contorted look on my face while I completed this maiden voyage into little girl hair.

Laura - That teething pacifier I found in the One Step Ahead catalog that I have gotten a number of good stuff from over the past few years. I believe that doohicky in Anna's mouth is technically called - a teethifier and its mouthpiece separates into a big v shape so it reaches those back teeth without choking baby. Definitely recommend. Anna used it for hours yesterday.

Except I just went to the website and I couldn't find it listed at all. Weird.

Just wait until you're holding her by her hair while SHE'S trying to get away, but while YOU'RE trying to put it up....Natalie and I fight like that a lot, and her hair never falls out in the process...One day she'll realize it hurts when she tries to walk away while I"m doing her hair!
Cute Pigtails!
