We couldn't quite make up our mind this year about what Noah could do for the first time for his birthday as is our birthday tradition around here. We toyed with the idea of ziplining or parasailing while at the beach but he was too small. We pondered him getting a hermit crab, but just ... no. Ha! I tried to talk him into rock climbing with Josh while I was outta town his birthday weekend, but the boy was too chicken. And then this weekend, we righted that wrong and the boy went for it! First time experience for his eighth birthday - finally Check!
Anna went first though, because she is FEARLESS whereas Noah is a bit more cautious. We knew watching her would embolden him.
Off she goes...

Made it as high as Anna and was ready to come back down. That cowbell at the top will have to wait for another day.
Great first try! And he's already asking to do it again. :D
