Trading Leotards for Cleats

Look who is at bat now, having signed up for Fall Ball yesterday!  T-ball to be exact.  I was pulling for her jumping straight into coach pitch play because of her age, but we erred on the side of a solid foundation in the basics of baseball with a slow fall season in t-ball instead ... even if it means she is playing with kids much younger than her.  It's a 4-6 age range in that league ... and Anna will turn 7 during the season.  Oh well.  Josh says it will only guarantee that she gets lots of play as a leader/older kid on the team.  Kinda like how kindergarten went.

I am bummed that this means Noah will have to take fall off as a result (Josh is adament that we not juggle a crammed weekly schedule of two different leagues and practices and games simultaneously), but he is being a great sport about it and helping field balls while Anna practices with Josh.  If I am lucky, I will get him in swimming or gymnastics or possibly guitar or piano in the meantime.
