New Day, New Blooms

We woke today to bright new blooms and I simply cannot help but photograph them! 

I think all the different stages of the petals and pollen unfolding are really neat to behold.  Love the fresh rain water still visible in the top flowers and the insects flocking to the third.  Go ahead and add flowers to my nature obsessions list ...  which for the record includes leaves, flocks of birds, clouds, storms, and garden produce so far. :}
