Marking 5 and 10 Years

5 years:  I've been a SAHM now for as long as I was teaching before that.

5 years:  It has been 5 years since I finished my master's degree.

5 years:  I've had sleep issues for 5 years now.  Wow.

10 years:  I have now known Josh 10 years (@ 2 mos. shy).

10 years:  It has been 10 years since I graduated college.

10 years:  My very first classroom of students 10 years ago is graduating high school this year!  WHAT?!

Time, she is a fleeting thing. It seems like I've known you longer than 10 years, yet it doesn't seem possible that Noah should be 5.

I HAVE known you almost 10 years now, haven't I?

Even more amazing is how it 7-8 years before we really started getting to know each other. So crazy, huh?

Timelines like this are always so interesting. I agree with Amy - time flies! It was 5 years ago this summer that we began our first steps towards moving to Prague, and I can still picture where I was standing on Shannon's uncle's farm in Alabama when my sister called to tell me that my niece had been born. Craziness that that niece is now 5!
