Welcome, Tornado Season

I can tell it's gonna be a wild spring season here in Tennessee.  Heck, it's not even spring and we've needed the AC since late January, with temps just these last couple weeks reaching 75ish!  And what is a TN spring without a little tornado action?  It's supposed to be getting real bad here today - it's already in the 80's to make matters worse.  Schools let out 3 hours early for the occasion.  Josh is getting home early today, too.  It's best I stay off FB because all my friends are FREAKING OUT and that in turn causes me to freak out as well.  So, instead of stalking the radar that only tells us more of the same dangerous weather news, I've been nursing a migraine (more proof of the atmospheric drama that looms so near), popped in a movie for the kids to take in (before the power goes out, of course), and prepped our teeny, tiny downstairs bathroom.

We have just the basics ready and waiting for us once we descend upon its cramped quarters during the worst of the storms.  Anna's been a big help gathering necessities.  They are as follows:

flashlights
batteries
a pillow
blanket
Leapsters
cell phone
3G equipped tablet
snacks
Anna's piggie and bathtime baby, of course!
and Noah's secured permission for Chewie to accompany us in the bathroom as well.

Anyway, wish us luck this afternoon - aka, PRAY! :)
See ya on the flipside.
