ATL Trip: Day 4

Day 4 in Atlanta had us packing up and heading to my sister's house for the weekend, but not until after another wonderful hot breakfast at the hotel.  And not until we headed a little ways east to Stone Mountain.  Josh and I had been there several times before kids, so this was a first for Noah and Anna.  Most of the attractions were not quite open yet, but the only one I cared to bother with anyway was the mountain of granite.

On the way up via tram...

At the top...

Oooh weee, it was sunny!

That's ATL in the way back, covered in smog, of course. :S

Cool shot...

Cooler shot!

Too bad we didn't have any coins on us. :(

Pretty shot...

Classic Stone Mountain shot. :)

From there we beelined to Emily's 2 hours south in Warner Robins.  It was time to see a handful of cousins again, especially this little guy who has grown so fast!  Jack will be 1 in a matter of weeks.

Noah and Anna played so hard all weekend with Brooklyn and Natalie!  They pick up right where they leave off every time we get together.

More of the sweetest, easiest baby I've ever been around. And that's saying something, because Noah was an easy baby and I have many friends with easy babies.  Jack takes the cake and spoils Emily rotten in that fact. :)

It was neat to behold these two tending toward each other more and more. In the past they've trailed along behind the big kids when they weren't off in their own separate play zones.

More little girl play... Their conversations and interactions were so cute!

When it rains, we pour outside to get good and wet. :)

The last thing on our GA to-do list was dinner at Sonny's Bar-B-Q Restaurant.  So that is just what we did and then took the kids to a park to play some more.  It was a perfectly relaxing and refreshing weekend to cap off a perfectly enjoyable family trip in Atlanta.  Looking forward to our next getaway, hopefully this summer!  We're thinking Chattanooga maybe?
