We have officially retained the services of an adoption attorney and it feels so weird!! But good. So good! We really like how this woman works. She knows her stuff and is on top of everything. She had the most reasonable fees among the several we contacted and she came highly recommended from some people we trust who have worked with her recently. So excited for this new step, these final steps!
Within some of the paperwork she sent us, there was a spot where we input what we are changing Lasa's name to upon her adoption. That was so weird to ink for the first time too. But good. So good! As well, it has been fun to gather ideas for adoption announcements this summer.
