Views and Points of View

Views I have enjoyed in person and in photos from friends.  Also, some wise words (mostly images from my bible app) that shape my prayers and point of view from day to day. Always so timely!

Yes, that's Anna.  Blowing the dust off home base between innings when she was first up to bat ... and was clearly ready a little early. HA! :}

Summer o' bubbles over here.  Lasa loves.

Always the feet.

My friend, Meghan, took this GoRgEoUs shot on her way home.  No filter!  Just HDR photography.

I took this on the way home from church last night. Had some cool but gentle color twists throughout.

A girl I know in Iowa took this one.  She knows I love the clouds, so she faithfully tags me in all her cloud pics. 💙

One way I pray while we wait for TPR.

This one always amazes me to think about.  To be KNOWN before I even EXISTED.  This is one amazing God.

I realize I may be altering the original meaning of this verse, but there it is.  I pray for victory in August.  And if the outcome isn't what I personally want, I will pray to see better the victory the Lord is generating in other ways.

When I pray for justice to win out in the TPR outcome, it is much like the words in these Psalms I read last night that went along with a devotional I read.  So timely! Ignore that I marked them with the wrong month number.  :S  Glad I did it in pencil. HA!

I also pray this way ... the God would guard our path (and the decisions we are making along the way) along this foster/adopt road.

This just totally answers a question I always wonder about ... whether we are Gen X or millenials with our 1978/1979 birthdays.
Answer: both!

I loved this post. Jeremiah 1:5.... Numbers 6:26... so good. I copied them down into my journal in light of our own adoption journey. Keep forgetting to tell you that we are headed to FL June 29 - July 20. Emily and Rob will be there with Alyona during the first 2 weeks of July, so we're going to meet her and spend time with her. We're praying that this trip provides us some much needed clarity and direction.
