Pumpkin Patch Run

We made our way to the nearest pumpkin patch

for some fall fest fun

with friends last week

on the ONE day the sun decided to shine.  And since we have had so much rain day in and day out, we went prepared with rainboots galore.

I fell down on the picture taking job and didn't get any of all the festive diversions that Bottom View provides for the kids - jumping pillow, swings, seesaws, pedal tractors, corn crib, giant slides, all manor of animals to pet and feed, pumpkin cannon, kiddie mine, old west storefronts for exploring and horseback riding if you're into that sort of thing, which Anna was. :}

And, OF COURSE, the hayride

to the patch where pumpkins are waiting to be picked/twisted/cut off real vines.

We scored three more beauties for our porch.  Not sure what Noah was thinking in this one.

Hoping we can hit one more new-to-us pumpkin patch destination before the month is up.  Fingers crossed!
