Buds, Bots, Bark, Bombs Bursting!

Last week was filled with BUDS ...

Dang - wish I had gotten a shot of Cathy, Kristin, and me chillin' poolside while kiddos swam!  Or pics of friends who came to see baby bunnies throughout the week.  Sigh.  Instead, I will submit this pic of a very dearheart friend who had a special adoption milestone last week that made my week all week as I watched/stalked updates.  Hugs, Elizabeth!!!

Oh wait, I did just manage to snatch these shots of Emmie's from their bunny visit.  One out of five different visiting families is better than no pics at all, I guess - ha!  I am started to slack in the pic department!

Last week was filled with Josh and Anna and Lego BATTLEBOTS they designed and battled and modified and battled again. ;)

Last week was filled with BARK around Josh's garden and the pool.  Love it!

And last week's other big deal was the fun of taking in BOMBS BURSTING in air on the Fourth of July with our Redeemer family.  For years, we been meeting up to hang out and watch Hendersonville's FreedomFest Fireworks on the lakeside lawn in front of the Lighthouse Event Center.  This year, the missions team rented out the Lighthouse and hosted free popcorn and popsicles and AC and restrooms for the church and any and all friends who came along.  It was another wonderful 4th with our favorites!

Astoundingly, the rain held off til the very last sparkle in the finale and THEN the sky fell out.  It was a fun finish, honestly.  HA!  I felt bad for all the boats on the water crowded in for the show.  That can't have been an easy or speedy or dry exit that night. 😬 Summer has been packing a real punch in the storm department this year!

So sweet! Thanks for the love! It has been a blur of a week... so thankful for how well it's gone and so exhausting. Differently than a newborn, but still so much energy required.

Yes! Requires just about as much Alert and On Guard in your spirit as a newborn would! Enjoy every minute!
