Last week pics followed by this weekend pics followed by this week pics. SO MUCH GROWTH! They fill up two handfuls each now and are so, so active. They are nibbling grass and gobbling pellets and drinking their own water now on top of mama's milk.
This weekend, we YouTubed it to try our hand at sexing them. We think there are 5 does and 2 bucks.
Put together this graphic to post them for sale officially once we have a vet confirm or correct our guesses at their genders. Four are still claimed, but not specific picked until then.
Yesterday, Anna found Shade had found his way into the baby bunny hutch overnight. So thankful his instinct wasn't to hurt them. Good Daddy! But still, not good that the other big bunnies are figuring out how to get to them. So we went ahead and moved them out of the hutch and into this enclosed area under the treehouse. They are loving all the extra room to play and explore.
I love that bunny farmer in there, hunched over the one he is holding, loving every second with them.
Padme will now only get to be with them when we physically put her in there with them overnight. There just was no other way to keep the other bunnies separated from the babies. It's good timing though ... will curb some of those midday feedings they have been getting and usher in easier weaning.
