Still getting used to seeing her teeth look so different ... and yet still not complete.
She has a retainer to retain the spaces they made for more teeth to come it and to keep the teeth that are in in the right place. She also has some baby teeth to let fall out. She will for sure need a Phase 2 set of braces in a couple years. Til then ... mostly straight rows of teeth! There are two baby teeth on the top, right next the new open spaces, that stick out pretty bad. She said she looks like a vampire now. I tell her she doesn't, but I totally see what she's saying. Lets pray those wonky baby teeth fall out sooner rather than later. They weren't as noticable with the braces on. Go figure!
I guess that's why the orthodontist's office is called Smile Construction. Her smile is most definitely still under construction. ;)
