Week of Water Play

Gallatin's Civic Center installed a brand spanking new pool with fun slides last summer and it was a much anticipated event.  It's official name is Tommy Garrott Aquatics Facility. It was so needed in our area!  We went 2-3 times last summer.  Total thumbs up! We went for the first time this summer on Friday, the first of Josh's summer Fridays off.  We're excited about this summer for Lasa; she is way less baby than last, so we can chill out more than last summer when water is about.  With that in mind, we went all in and prepaid for a bunch more pool visits (20!) with their punch card. It was hot as blazes on Friday, but there were umbrellas provided this time and we managed to snag one when some friends of ours were on the way out and flagged us down, inviting us to move right into their spot.  Perfect!

Other ways we spent the week in water included the hot tub, testing out crochet water balloons I made, hose showers, playing in the rain, kayaking, and an afternoon at Don Fox Wading Pool in Lebanon for a meet up with friends from church.
