This year we are all up in Ancient Civilizations studies. Which made the Parthenon field trip with Nashville Homeschool Calendar a must do. Noah and I have been once, a number of years ago, but this felt like a solid first time visit. Just so much more learning to attach to all that was discussed on the tour. Lasa, who usually is at her preschool, was actually home for the day since Josh was not in Lebanon to take her, and she rocked it being with the big kids. It was a great trip! On the way home, we got the brilliant idea to follow our Greek theme right into lunch at a Greek restaurant. Fun touch! Followed by a library run to pick up some mythology reads as well as astronomy that we are also doing. Winning Wednesday!
