Last month, Josh and Noah went to scope out a local video game tournament going on at Prince Street Pizza. Noah was quite into it and asked to sign up for the next one going on. That ended up being last night at Filly's. Noah entered, competing in the Beginner's bracket. He was so excited!
He won his first round. He lost in a VERY close match to his second opponent, which dropped him to apparently something called the Loser's Bracket??? But my diligent gamer battled back and all the way to the top and overcame all, taking first place! What a fun success in his first tournament experience. Proud of him! His prize winnings included a whopping $11 and bragging rights. ;) Also, he is now featured among the other bracket winners on the cover photo of Bid Dad Games on their FB page.
He's already asking to sign up for the next tournament in March. That $11 should cover his entrance fee. Ha!
