DDD 2018

Josh and Anna attended their 7th Daddy Daughter Dance this weekend, both agreeing it was the best time yet.  They got there as it opened and they didn't leave until closing time, or as Josh said, "We opened 'er up and we shut 'er down." 🤣  An exhausted Anna shlumped in the house and collapsed on the floor, fully spent after her night of a LOT of dancing, jerking, dancing, jumping, dancing, playing, and boogie'n.

They ate out at Demo's.  They enjoyed their meal heartily, sharing steak, potato, spaghetti,  rolls,  salad, dessert, smoothie, and cokes. 😳

Then it was time to dance!

I mean, can you even stand the preciousness of this scrawny thing bustin' all her moves and then the moves of whatever overtook her in the moment.  I have vidoes of this goodness.  Such.  Good. Videos.  I think I will post a few!

I wuv her so much.

Couple shots taken at the dance.  Sweetness!

Next year, Lasa will attend with them, bless it.  This year, it was all this Dancing Queen and her Daddy.  Video footage coming at ya!

Preciousness. Our town has one too. Maybe in a couple years?

So that's a negative. He says no way. Maybe it's because he grew up here? Way to go Josh for braving it! Did he have to dance or just stand back and let her go? Ha!

Just so not prepared for the transformation of this beautiful creature!

Gloria! He might be singing a different tune when she is old enough to have an opinion. And he dances. He says he dances more every year. ;) They do all sorts of fun events and such too ...

Amy - never fear ... she turns back into an Anna pumpkin for day to day, straggly-haired, teeth-not-brushed, jelly-smeared-on-her-face, pj-day-long life. Ha! But for real. 😏

I love E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G!! about this post. Seriously. Everything. That girl of yours is something else...her daddy too. I so wish my doodle could go to a dance like this with her daddy. She would LOVE it! As it is, they'll settle for a daddy-daughter-date on Valentine's Day. :)
