I left this in my inbox to come back to because the idea of obedience being the issue... and not the outcome being the issue... really resonated with me. Especially in light of what I keep learning about adoption.
And I also LOVE SLEEP. And wish it was more a part of my life. ;-) Recently Rebeka told Shannon she wanted him to have a sleepover with her in room and I realized that night (as I fell asleep alone in our bedroom) that this was the first time in 4 years and 3 days that I had slept without a baby monitor or my baby in the same room with me!!! Crazy, but true.
I love that you GET that obedience quote too. That was one I picked up and held onto for dear life during our first year with Jonah's Journey.
