Long Division

Just went you think you can coast to the end of the school year, you tackle long division and learn that 2016/2017 is going down swinging!

Long.  Division.  Y'all.  Long Division is no joke and it has required some concentrated effort on Noah's part and some concentrated effort on my part (to keep my cool when repeating myself for the umpteenth time).  Needless to say, student and teacher have floundered a few times, but we got the job done!  Today, the boy did more problems without my help than with.  That's a big deal!  And he did it while managing a ... distraction.

Lasa brings the moral support and cuteness. Noah brings the math skillz and cuteness, too. I bring the camera.

Three.  More.  Days. of school left!

hahahah!!!! Just when you think summer is here, Mama declares math lessons will be done 2 times a week throughout the summer! bwahahaha! Oh the moaning and groaning...I told them they get two week so vacation...no work at all, so no complaining.

And Long division is hard. way to persevere Noah!

I forget - you finished this week, too, right? And only two weeks? Yikes. You are tough! We'll take a month off, then start half days in July, then go full time in August, I imagine.

LOL! They have no other requirements but Math. Math is what took the longest and most sweat this last year...so time consuming...so we are going to jump start the lessons this year. 2 times a week is no big deal, right?!?!? Keeps their mind sharp. And we aren't doing any other subjects...except maybe reading...ha! And history and science come July.
