November's News

November has big news!  But first, smaller November news, no less sweet...

Leaves from my favorite month.

Noah got his braces off!  So exciting!

Lots of street hockey, roller hockey, and football with buds.  The weather this November has been awesome.

I am back in a Bunco group after a million years since I last played.  Fun!

Snuggly time with this one.

Anna getting snuggles of her own.

Bunny snuggles.

Our Halloween tree shifted into a Thanksgiving tree. We love!

Tomato plants STILL producing into late November.  Impressive.

Noah working with power tools with Josh ... building a winter warming box for Valley and Luke.

Lasa had a handful of more ear appts at Vandy.  Finally able to have a hearing test ... revealing hearing loss ... after yet another infection ... this time fungal.  Ew.  Going back in a few months to see if the hole in her ear drum is healing on its own or not... will need a patch or not... I am tired of her ears.

Keeping on walking. Sometimes with company, usually not.

Precious moments from schoolwork that came home.

These two.

Park - feeling proud of being brave enough to climb up this thing finally.

Hit up a movie again for the first time in forever.  The Croods 2 over Thanksgiving.

Anna's Thanksgiving feast for the bunnies.

Our own feast. Simple. Perfect.

Decorated for Christmas with only what you see here and a wreath on the door, because ...

as it turns out, we are moving!! And our house needed to be cleaned and decluttered for realtor pics and showings right after the holiday.  Check out 167 Wimbledon Ct!

We went on the market a week early in a hurry the day after Thanksgiving, and had two offers within 3 hours.  By the end of the weekend and a flurry of showings the entire time, we had 5 offers to choose from.  What a thrill!  We picked the sweetest offer and will get to packing up even more here soon.  So exciting!  Where are we headed?  A sweet little spot on the Gallatin/Bethpage line with much more room to breathe - 20 acres in fact!  Some shots of the views we will call home before the end of December!

That's the house up there on the hill.  We are smitten with the whole thing. And AMAZED at how the Lord opened one door at a time, in His time, and we just kept our cool and watched for His go ahead and only His go ahead as different details had to come together in such specific ways. This new adventure is gonna be really good for our family after the last couple years. We cannot stop praising Him. Won't stop. So humbled and thankful for how he worked all this out.

In the meantime, a little new Christmas cheer on the back porch ...

And some snow to wrap up November.  Was such a treat!

Speaking of Anna girl, she is sorting out some moving grief that caught us all by surprise, but coming around a little more each day and jumping back into dreaming of what's ahead.  Thankful!

A house on a hill. So lovely.

And 20 acres! Your outdoor-loving, gardening, adventuring crew will not know what to do with themselves.

Here's to knew beginnings and the blessings of this new home.

Anna's creativity, by the way, just flourishes.

I do sort of adore the house on a hill phrase too myself. ❤️

You might be surprised to see the literal map Josh and Anna have devised ... drafting where the Christmas trees will grow, where the fruit trees will be, where the goats and chickens will go, etc, etc, etc. So very enterprising.

Thank you for sharing in our joy! It multiplies it!
