It's the middle of December and I am playing catch up to get November recorded waaaaaay after the fact. Oy! Just treading water with all the things all the days allllll by myself. Pics include the Father/Daughter Olympics at church, for which Noah stood in as father and I couldn't be more grateful to him on Lasa's behalf. She was excited to have Noah there for her instead of going with a friend's dad. Anna spent a lot of time with a lot of different friends. Redeemer Thanksgiving was a delight, as always. We went to AL again for Thanksgiving and enjoyed cousins and a minor league hockey game. Anna has a boyfriend now and it's a whole thing, but it's a sweet and encouraging whole thing so I will only fret this milestone a little. So far, Jacob has been a really good influence in her life, which is saying something because Annagirl was already doing good on her own. I wuv her. Anna started her first ever real job hostessing at Music City Diner and she loves it more and more every week. Lasa enjoyed a number of choir performances. Anna continues to do all the artsy things, including teaching herself to play a little guitar now and doing more writing. I finished a crochet project, read a great book, got decorated for Christmas, started wearing my new glasses, straightened Lasa's hair at her long-awaited request, kept my head above water at work, and took in another Bunco with no winnings - ha!

I love your update! You are doing great! We did the Huntsville minor league hockey last year and had such a great time! We will be in Huntsville after Christmas for a few days. Let me know if you will be there!
Thank you, girl!! I won't get to Huntsville again til closer to New Years. If that's when you'll be there still, I just might give you a shout. ;)
We will be in Huntsville Dec. 28-Jan 1 I think. Let me know if you will be there and can meet for breakfast or something!
How far your babes have come. How far you have come. I love this so much - seeing God's provision and mercy and comfort on display in real time.
My goal for 2025 is to come see you!
Have the best Christmas!
They have changed so much in a year. We all have! It boggles my mind and hurts my heart in different ways. Maybe it's just my mood here at the holidays again as I take inventory. Ha! Life and its curveballs.
As for that goal you dangled out there ... my word, it would be one of the highest lights of my year if it worked out. There would be so much healing conversation to share. DO!! Gah. Love.
