When everyone else is making salt dough ornaments for Christmas, we have been hard at work on our salt dough map of the ocean floor instead. Naturally! This has been fun to have the kids do. Also fun because I have never in my life made salt dough anything. :S It's been a several week long process as we added parts and layers according to our science lessons, even though the pics only catch them at work twice in the sequence ...
Finished ocean-floor product - continent, mountains, continental shelf, continental slope, sea rises, sea mounts, islands, abyssal plains, underwater mountains, Mid-Atlantic Ridge, rift, and trench.
