I snatched up a 20 in. bike last weekend for our girl who is too tall for her current training wheel bike that she never rides anyway. And the new-to-her feel of the bike was exciting enough to make her want to go at this two-wheel thing.
We headed to the neighborhood park and set her loose in the grass. She was a natural! 7 years will do that to a kid - improve their balance. HA!!
She still has room to improve on pushing off herself and sticking the landing.
Baby steps!
And for some reason, NOT the sidewalk for awhile. Ha! No worries, no children were harmed in the filming of this crash and burn.
Fun milestone for our girl! She rocked it. And she did it with way less tears and hysterics than her brother when he learned. Which was actually NO tears or hysterics. HA!

Those were AWESOME pics and videos!! LOVED them! I still chuckle about how you guys started on grass, and that never even occurred to me...instead, we started on concrete completed padded up head to toe...haha! And just to let you know, starting and stopping are the hardest parts...starting off being the MOST difficult to conquer. :) What fun!
I've been checking your blog waiting for an update...geez! About time! ;)
I know. I felt the growing weight of having not blogged our latest and knowing we would have even more to blog after our cabin/camping this weekend. :} And fall break next week.
