First it was (and still is) the melaleuca sample. Still have another week or so to go and jury is still out on whether it will finish the job or not. Gonna withhold commentary til that time.
And then last week I moved on to this little trio - my first ever actual purchase of oils. Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint. But then I just let it sit on the counter for days.
Anna has been struggling with getting to sleep off and on here lately, so one night this week I opened the lavender and put some on her feet. That stuff seemed to do the job for her and, man alive, it went to work on me as well. I was so sleepy I put myself to bed before nine that night!! Small tidbit, I did not care for the smell though .. it was quite potent. Will have to be used in smaller drops next time for sure!
Then, this week I got a killer migraine. I popped some pills before remembering to try the peppermint. But after the pills didn't help, I texted my DoTerra friend and she said to rub the peppermint oil on my temples and the back of my neck. Worked like a charm! Then again, I can't be sure it wasn't ALSO the pills, so I am looking forward to my next headache, ha!, so I can try the peppermint alone.
Excited about these and not wanting to run out of the melaleuca before Noah's month is up (and also wanting to try it in my laundry), I went ahead and ordered more tea tree oil along with some oregano oil that might also help with that same ringworm spot for Noah. And while I was there on the Rocky Mountain Oils page, I threw in an oil blend to boot - BreatheEase - for breathing assistance during colds and coughs, obviously. :}
So me and the oils are taking our time, but getting better acquainted and feeling hopeful! I even have a diffuser on the shopping radar. Don't laugh!

I thought about getting a diffuser last Feb when the stomach virus was picking us off one by one. But then I chickened out. Let me know once you try it and become an expert :-)
laughing....
Glad to hear it's working for you. But wouldn't fungal cream work faster than the oil? Like a lot faster? Especially since that ringworm junk is contagious!! eek!
can't wait to hear about your next headache!
Actually, no. The fungal cream requires a month of application, too. True story!
I used clotrimazole cream on Claire's ringworm rash last year, and it took about a month to go away.
Yeah - I figure it's like an antibiotic - how they tell you to use it til the end of the bottle even days after the kiddo is seemingly fine, just to make sure and REEEEEEALLLY kill it all off. :}
