Anna's (Almost) Recital

A little girl in leotards

and posing/falling, does not a recital make.

But that is what we supposedly attended last night

for Anna's Jump, Jazz, and Roll class.

She mostly (but really ENTIRELY) just spaced out and stood on the end and/or fiddled with her props.

But judging by the happy hugs after the so-called performance

she believes she was dancing with the stars.  I don't know.  It's a good thing she's cute.

LOL!!!!! Classic! She's 3. Give yourself and her a break....that is what they do at THREE. you are hilarious with your *poetic* -ness

That is exaclty the way her recital should have been. Emily's right, she's just 3. :)
Love her hair pulled back to get a full view of that sweet face.

Oh, and that first snapshot is frame worthy. Just. Too. Precious.

Noah's assessment of her performance, and I quote, was, "Anna was terrible."

:}

When I asked her afterward why she didn't do her routine, she responded, "It's ok, Mommy. I did some of the dances."

I agree with Emily and Amy -- "Give yourself and her a break....that is what they do at THREE." You got some super cute pictures of her before the show, and I *love* the one of her with her daddy!

Oh my stars. I know she's three, but apparently I thought she was a more with-it three than she is. :S This was a total reality check!

Oh my word, Noah's *tactfulness* cracked me up! And anna's assurance that she danced....LOVE. IT. I'm sure she was absolutely flawless in her mind :)
