Who's the Clown?

I am attempting to usher in spring by sheer will power. I got Anna these sweetie pie sandals today to get the ball rolling.

I also got my hair cut and I didn't fret over it until Noah offered his brutally honest opinion when I picked him up from MDO. He said he didn't like my hair because it makes me "wook wike a cwown." I took his commentary in stride, reassuring him (and myself) that it will grow back.

When we got home and I was taking pictures of Anna's feet in her new sandals, Noah wanted to be included in the action. With a devilish grin on my face, I put the cutesy flowery sandals on his feet, too, and snapped away.

Who's the clown now, big boy?

Just take the picture at a different angle, head on shots are always tough to get right...I like the length, I want to do the same thing, but now how goofy would we look when I come visit...we're out together, look alike, AND have the same hairstyle? Just can't do it...I'll wait to get it cut till after our visit. haha...though maybe not. Brooklyn's pushing for her haircut, since we were planning to do that soon together, so maybe I will get it cut before I come. hee hee

oh and cute sandals by the way! Even on Noah. haha. Tell him Aunt Emily said he was a little clown! And to be nice to his mommy! Calling people names is not nice.

and neither is telling your daddy that you love your mommy more. Yeah, that's what Brooklyn said tonight. That just after telling me in the car that she didnt' love me. We're working heavily on things to say and NOT to say to people. It's exhausting. :) But they have to learn at some point.

Silly Noah! I like your new cut! Very cute and sassy! I cut mine this week, much like yours so we can be clowns together! :-P

Shannon: I have to admit I really like this cut and length...and it looks better in person than it does in picture. I even stepped it up in the hair department after watching the stylist finish it off. I went out and a got a flat iron. And I'm digging that too.
