Noah, Saint, #6

Noah's been practicing with this year's flag football team, the Saints, for several weeks now and this weekend was his first game.  I am so glad his games are not at 8 in the morning this year like last.  They are at 9:45, so I will actually attend them.  HA!  The coach is a dear family friend of ours from church, Derek, and Noah's buddy, Colman, who is a year too old to play is standing in as his assistant.

Noah loves being at the center of the action this year.  Like, literal center, as that is his position on offense.  He hikes the ball with such control and accuracy.  He caught several great passes in the game and even made a cheer go up from all the parents when he got in a solid deflection while on defense.  He has gotten SO much better at getting open and receiving since last fall.  He is proud of that.  Josh, Noah, and Anna practice out back several times a week.  Anna has her sights set on playing next fall.  Not joking!

They didn't win the game, but they played well and will certainly be working hard on corrections this week at practice.  Noah loves to play either way - at practice or the games, win or lose, so it's all fun and games to him anyway.  Proud of him!
