March started some new chapters for us ... Anna got her hardship license, I turned 45, Lasa lost more teeth, Anna bought her very own hot tub and also attended a jewelry making workshop. Anna got registered at Vol State Community College in prep for signing up for some dual enrollment courses for the fall. We got the first flowers and plants to tend at our new little house as we take in the first spring here. Anna took her kayak out for the first time from the backyard of some dear friends at church who have property right on the lake. They are letting Anna store her kayak there and it's just the nicest thing. Anna did a lot of painting in a number of different locales. We took a few days during our Spring Break to visit Cumberland Mountain State Park again and it was a nice little getaway. My parents joined Anna and me there in their own cabin as well. Lasa was with Josh for spring break which stunk. We enjoyed being back at Redeemer's Passover Seder service on Maundy Thursday. We watched the Good Friday service at home. And we managed to snag a few minutes with Noah at Sunday's Easter service affording us a quick family pic again. I love it AND it makes me sad. Lasa did her first ever presentation at school. I bought my first ever readers. Good grief! We mowed the lawn for the first time here. Every first is a fun milestone! And - I sold my wedding ring set. Just typing it out makes me get watery all over again. I am so thankful for the Lord's amazing provision and tender care in such specific ways day after day after day, but I cannot pretend that I still can't believe this divorced life is mine, that I never see my son anymore, and that I don't get to see Lasa for half of her days every month. The tears continue to come at times. They will surely end one day, but that day isn't here yet. For the record, we are still waiting on the judge's final ruling regarding alimony and attorney's fees and that just stinks. Pray for me to rest in trust better in this wait. It has really worn me out. My spirit is weary.
