Today's the milestone 10th birthday. I am still working on that official birthday post, so I will just have to share this one in lieu of that one at the moment. For the record, the boy has proclaimed that now that he is 10 he should not do birthday surveys anymore. : / Apparently he is too old? Too cool? I don't know about that. Maybe I could pare it down to 15 questions after this. We shall see. :}
My favorite responses of his were the favorite song - How Sweet the Sound, he called it, but it is actually entitled Why the Fear? We sing it at church. I love that the music we sing there moves him! I think it's cute how he butchers the spelling of his favorite food and favorite breakfast - chicken poppyseed casserole (chicken popsi caserual) and waffles (walfuls). I was amused by his job aspiration - a guy that blows up stuff ... with TNT he said. Ah yes, there's the Minecraft influence. HA! I laughed out loud at the names he would give himself - Bob, Stewart, Kevin. Did not see those coming. :} I melted when he said having his sister around is what makes him the most joyful. ❤️ And I think it is downright precious how little crap he asks for on his birthday. At first, he only listed the first thing. I got him to think of a couple others, but it was a struggle. I like to see him not tending toward materialism. The Lego obsession around this house always has me on edge about it... At least our materialism only runs rampant in that category. :}

I'm afraid to jump off a cliff too, Noah. LOL!!! Those were fun.
Oh, Noah, never too old for these. This is how we get to know the true you.
I expect to see an 11th survey next year. 🙂
Exactly! B'day surveys are a keeper! Sorry, Noah.
Yes! The birthday survey! This was a fun read... and thanks for the reminder of this gem. Expect a birthday survey from our 3 year old soon. ;-) Which I of course stole from your blog in looking back at your archives!
