A Real Emergency

I reviewed 911 protocol with Noah tonight just to make sure he was familiar with what to do in case of an emergency.  And after I showed him what to press and explained what would happen when he pressed those numbers, I reminded him of the seriousness of using a number like 911.

Me:  Noah, remember - we only call 911 if something really bad is happening, an emergency.
Noah:  Yeah - Wike when Jesus up on da cross!

at least he's got the numbers down! I can't seem to get it in Brooklyn's head that it IS TOO 9-1-1- NOT 9-9-1. She's my sweet tender hearted child, but man when she thinks she knows something, she's stu-bborn.

Noah's take was pretty cute! :) This is such a great age to be instilling the Word to them. Brooklyn's teacher was out yesterday b/c her mom was sick...so at dinner, she made EVERYONE stop what they were doing so she could pray for her Mrs Sandra's mommy to feel better. I mean how sweet is that? They really do GET it sometimes...in their childlike way!

Oh, feel better then. Noah kept saying 991, too. That just wasn't the funny part is all. We'll keep reviewing.

I'm pretty sure that plumbing issue we had on Sunday is what has me on high alert for making sure we all know what to do in those unexpected situations. :)

Noah has such a unique take on almost
everything - is it just me, or are my grandchildren just super smart?
