Baby Girl waltzed right into her first ever dental check-up this week ALL BY HERSELF. It was weird and AWESOME to sit in the waiting room alone because my kids got this. HA! It helped that Noah and Anna were going back, too. Lasa just walked right behind them, slowing down a smidge only when the tech greeted her. :} Since I was not in the back while they checked out her pretty little teeth, I was only able to snap these pics as she waltzed right out, all grins and pride.
Cavity free, along with her big brother and sister. (Speaking of Bubba and Yaya - Noah has SEVEN loose teeth at the moment - and this after having lost two in the last month, both at church. Ha! Anna, bless it, can't get a wiggle anywhere and is having to have two baby teeth removed in January - orthodontist's orders.)
I was told she only cried at the sight of a tech with her mask on. And that she cheered Noah on while his teeth were cleaned by calling him a "Bee {big} boy!" She made many friends with the staff while there. And she lost two balloons to the ceiling before we got out the door. Nevermind that, she was thrilled to get to wear Anna's Wonder Woman ring as a consolation prize. Ha!
We added another first to her collection right after by letting her push her first ever kiddo cart at the grocery story on the way home. SHE WAS IN AWE OF HERSELF DOING THIS the whole time. If we so much as touched the front of the cart to help direct, she objected mightily, saying, "I do it! I do it!"
Precious moments all. Another day, another enamored grin on my face for Little Miss Lasa.
