We really had no budget for a beach trip this year. Then we kinda said "Screw it" one night a month before leaving and tacked on a mad dash to the sea after our planned visit with Emily in middle GA. We are so broke, we couldn't even stay AT the beach. We booked a Best Western in Savannah for low price alone and called it done. All we needed were beds really. Getting to hit the beach at all this year was mad joy, so every minute was a bonus that we are thankful to have squeezed in. Two nights, two full days spread over 3 - filled with pool, beach, light sightseeing, and boating. Not bad!
First up - Beach pics, straight up.
Day 1 at North Beach, Tybee Island ... less than an hour after checking into hotel at 3.
Day 2 further up the beach, much earlier (and hotter!) in the day than than the day before ...
All precious moments ... together ... in the wind and waves, before a great, big sea, sand, and sky.
