Yesterday was our last MOPS meeting for the year. And with that, I also finished my tenure at the Creative Activities post I've manned since last May. I remember being anxious about committing to it at this time last year, and I'm happy to report that I'm so glad I got involved. I enjoyed the tasks, didn't mind the responsibility, and felt really good at all the affirmation I got all year long from the ladies. I did not sign up to do it again for next year, but will shift over to Consignment Committee and know I will love that role, too. Y'all know how much I heart consignment season. :}
Anyway, the other bright spot this MOPS year was the good fortune I had to land at a table with these wonderful ladies! The MOPS theme this year was board game related, so we were affectionately titled, Battleship Babes. :)
Leslie (in red) was sort of in and out all year, but the other four girls, Lisa, Andrea, Melissa, Kelli, and I really bonded right away and they each have a spot in my heart forever now. We spent so much time together in and out of MOPS meetings and really cemented lasting friendships that will continue past this MOPS year. Just looking at this picture makes me grin. Love these girls!!

Battleship..Man you liked that game growing up...I hated that game growing up.
Lee loves that game...I STILL hate that game.
maybe you two should play it sometime.
Man, I hated that game. :) For real. Much like I dislike Stratego that I played once with Lee and vowed never to play again.
But so glad you had a good year at MOPS :) I really ought to join in next year around here... I just think I might....
I thought you were in your MOPS group this year, now that you mention it. What happened?
I never went this year at all actually. Couldn't commit to it and so I didn't want to pay that fee to join it and continue having to pay each bi-monthly meeting. With all of Jack's appointments and only having 2 available appointment days, he took up a lot of our kid free school hours. But that won't be the case next year.
