2019's First Strawberry Run

Another year, another Cooper Creek visit for the start of strawberry season.

Lasa mostly held the bucket and nibbled.  And held my keys while I worked.  Ha!

These two veteran berry pickers filled a bucket each.  We came home with 14 lbs between the three of us plus a jar of local honey.

With it all, we made about a year's worth of strawberry freezer jam.  We also had a giant tupperware of washed and pitted strawberries for eating as they are.  And Lasa ate her bodyweight in berries while I worked.  It was impressive.  The stems of the berries we fed to the bunnies.
