I am gonna blame 2020 in all its weirdness for why my FOUR YEAR OLD just lost her FIRST AND SECOND loose teeth in the same 12 hours.
BEFORE:
Two loose teeth there on the bottom middle ... and you can see the permanent ones already growing well in and pushing them out. Isn't this supposed to be happening closer to 6 years old at least? Don't even get me started on how Noah didn't lose his first til 7.5!
AFTER:
She had been letting Josh sort of "wiggle/twist" them every day or so to help them along. This day, it came out and she didn't even know it til he showed her. She was DELIGHTED as you can see. What a thrill!
AFTER AFTER:
The next morning, after the fun $20 our resident tooth fairy delivers for first teeth, Lasa got to work on the second loose one. She came scrambling downstairs because something happened and she didn't know what. Ha! It was literally dangling down to her lip by a thread, she had twisted so well. I hardly touched it at that point and that puppy fell right out.
Tooth Fairy came again for the second night in a row, leaving the customary $5 for a tooth. And now we have an almost full set of teeth to admire on our big girl as those two permanent ones have already moved up more into that space. There is another slighly loose one right next to them now. So crazy! But so fun still.
And just for tugging at the heartstrings - a pic of those first teeth when they were her among her first and only teeth. Bless!

Paxton was the same way! He lost his first tooth just before he turned 5 and his second right after he turned 5. Connor and Kyle didn't lose teeth until 6 1/2 (Connor) and 7 (Kyle), so I was totally not expecting it. I even asked him after the first one (because we didn't even know it was loose) if one of his brothers hit him in the mouth! But, the permanent ones came in immediately. He's now lost 4 and is working on his 5th. Kyle's only lost 5!
ReplyDeleteLasa sure looks cute with the missing teeth though!
So crazy!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how grown she looks nor can I believe she's already lost 2 teeth before Kindergarten!
ReplyDeleteSAME! What in the world?
ReplyDeleteKinder registration is in two weeks. WHAT IN THE WORLD? Also, can't wait. So fun! (Please, Lord, let it be fun!)
