While wrapping up this year school year last week, Anna also closed another big chapter - finishing elementary school officially. It feels a little false to call her that - elementary - because she has been doing middle school work along with Noah for the last two years, but on paper, at least, she's a fresh-faced newly-minted elementary school grad! Behold a parade of all her first days of school in that chapter. So fun!
Kindergarten
(her only public school year)
First Grade
Second Grade
Third Grade
Fourth Grade
Fifth Grade
And LAST day of 5th/Elementary
Fun side by side comparison - First and Last days of Elementary. Way to rock every.single. year, Annagirl! You are so impressive.
So impressive, in fact, that we are very seriously considering jumping you up to 7th grade in the books for this fall instead of 6th for a multitude of reasons, not the least of which is that fact that you are already going to be doing 8th grade work anyway. Ha! This will situate you nicely to start earning some High School credits in your 8th grade year along with a 9th grade Noah. And will keep us from having TWO full years of high school leftover after you have already completed it along with Noah. Oy! You are a brilliant, gifted, and super enjoyable student and we can't wait to see where you go with all this potential.
No more elementary?! How can this be?!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing her wisdom and learning is to you!
Just curious - will Anna continue pursuing the fiddle?
She thinks so! We are gonna look into private lessons for the fall as a shift from the group classes she was in at CHET. Hoping she really takes off in that format ... with more individualized instruction and feedback.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can hear her play it at Thanksgiving!
