Birthday First & Sounds Game

Noah planned to try a double decker bus tour in Nashville for his Birthday First experience this year, but when it came time to finally book it, he changed his mind in favor of something more active.  He picked something called Bubble Soccer at Exit Tactics, the place where he did Archery Tag back in December.  He invited 7 buddies and, despite spring sports and busy Saturdays, all 7 were able to attend!  Lucky birthday boy!  It was so fun to share the morning with Brody, Everett, William, Colman, Eddie, Joseph, and Bryson.  Anna, let the record show, threw down with the boys and enjoyed the festivities as well. ;)

They spent a little time getting oriented to their bubble outfits.  It was pretty funny.  Feet straight up in the air, LOTS of bumper bubble activity, lots of sweat, lots of laughing.  Lots of fun!!

They opted to try archery tag again after the game when there was still time left, too.

After he opened some gifts (tons of Legos, a nerf gun, a blaster type gun, and $20) and after most friends had already left, the owner let Noah try out his new Virtual Reality game.  It was a Bonus Birthday First!  Virtual Reality stuff is something Noah has been asking for that we haven't gotten around to doing yet, so this was a really fun surprise!

He now has bubble suits on his Christmas list as well as virtual reality goggles. ;)

Sunday was part of Star Wars Weekend at the Nashville Sounds game and we were excited to all go with the tickets Noah got for his birthday.  Meghan kept Lasa for us (God bless her!) and we enjoyed lunch and the game toddler free.  It was so wonderful!

The Sounds won 8-2, so good game!  It was only 80* outside, but man it was hot in the sun! We enjoyed snacks and cool treats and free light sabers they were giving away and then we enjoyed scooting out just a smidge early before a storm blew through.

Great post-birthday festivities and weekend!!
