Daddy/Daughter Dance 2016

Anna and Josh attended their annual Daddy/Daughter Dance for the fifth time last night!  And it was a lovely evening for them as always.  

Anna felt so grown up in her black dress with jewels along the neckline.  She decided how to do her hair (shower, airdry, scrunch for waves) and she was excited about getting some make-up on for the event, including my sending along a tube of lipstick for touch-up after dinner. :} Nevermind that Daddy had to keep it in his pocket for her.

They double dated for dinner at Cracker Barrel with Anna's friend, Emma, and her daddy, Craig, and then they danced the night away.

On the way home last night, Anna outlined some improvements for next year - wear a dress that makes her less hot, wear more comfy shoes, and pace herself dancing so as not to tucker out so quickly. :}  

Anna learned the YMCA this year and is teaching Noah how to do it today.  And Josh was exposed firsthand to the Whip and Nae Nae.  Ha!
