So far I have worked through Proverbs and Luke in my new Bible. Feel like capturing snippets of the notes/journaling I have done in it so far. My favorite shot, before I get going, is this one of Anna who just HAD to try some journaling of her own. She picked out a verse she knows from Genesis and went to town.
Looking at Luke.
Settling into Psalm or Acts or 1 Peter next...
WOW! Impressive!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! But you wanna see impressive, search bible journaling on Pinterest. THOSE are impressive samples.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!! I must say I've slacked a bit while doing another study. This post has me itching to begin again!!
ReplyDeleteI have slacked, too, but have found a groove that fits with slacking. :} First read-through, I only underline in pencil. Second time back, I note/journal those spots in pencil. Then on the weekend (or not if I don't have time, just whenever I know I won't be interrupted), I go back with the pens and watercolor and wrap it up. And really ... all that doubling back really helps drive home the points that stood out to me to begin with.
ReplyDeleteAnd not having to commit to a page spread right away is a relief for me. Sometimes, a girl just isn't in the creative mood!
