This year, in particular, we have not packed out our schedule and are enjoying every evening (not counting our busy Wednesdays) a sweet, silent night at home. The proof is in this picture from last night ... and in the fact that I had the free time and mental awareness to capture it.
Not pictured is the wet, curly-headed hooligan boy bouncing around just outside of the frame in a Santa hat. :} Which reminds me, Noah and Anna BOTH are quite squirrelly lately. Noisy, rambunctious, wrestling, chasing, aggravating each other, kinda annoying, yet somehow still precious in this season. :}
So aside from all of that hooliganizing, we really are enjoying some silent nights this Christmas. :}
I know what you mean. My girls can get all sorts of rambunctious...like tonight, while I was cleaning dishes after dinner, they were sneaking up on me and when I caught sight of them, they'd scream and run off like it was ME sneaking up on them...so after about 15 minutes of this repetitious obnoxious behavior, I paused doing dishes and snuck around the couch and when they creeped up to the kitchen counter - I scared them silly....the high pitch of screaming after that, made my ears ring, but it was fun to join their silly game for a minute. haha! I do so love this stage of life. Love it...
ReplyDeleteSee? This beats babies ANY day!! :}
ReplyDeleteIt really does....I don't want this stage of life to pass too quickly. They are so enjoyable, and happy...
