Look who F*I*N*A*L*L*Y got to start a sport of her own this week. :D She waited and waited for Noah's tennis lessons to finish so she could have her turn at an activity. She was PUMPED when the day came. And a smidge anxious. Her exact words while we waited for her class to start were, "Mommy, I am a teeny bit nervous and a bunch {throws arms open as wide as she can} excited."
First day jitters are adorable on her.

We couldn't take our eyes off her during both days that she went this week - one for the first free class and again the next day for starting her month that we signed her right up for. She will start going every Monday for an hour from now on. On the way to her second class she said, "I am SO glad I am in gymnastics because I needed a place to squirm!" And squirming's not all she did. She was stretching, and flipping on bars, and balancing on beams, and climbing ropes and swinging on them, too. This is gonna be such a fun season for her. It's so fun to watch her participate and rise up to the challenge of paying attention and controlling her movement and muscles. Too. much. fun!
So. Jealous.
ReplyDeleteNatalie's quitting gymnastics …. and I'm still grieving.
No way! Seriously? When did this happen and why?
